The Department of Biological Sciences at Kent State University offers Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Cell Biology (to be renamed Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics), Ecology (to be renamed Ecology and Evolutionary Biology), and Physiology (to be renamed Integrative Physiology and Neurobiology) that reflect the research expertise of our faculty. We also offer an innovative coursework-based Master of Arts (MA) degree. Students interested in the MS and PhD programs have the opportunity to engage in research with internationally recognized faculty.
